Aveley Lodge opened in 1989 as a small 12 bedded care home for the elderly; in 1995 it was extended to 18 beds and in 2001 extended to 21 beds. The home was purchased in 2006 by Mr Michael Parmenter and Mrs Debbie Blick and has continued to operate as a residential care home ever since.

Our staff are qualified in health and social care to either NVQ level 2 or level 3, all staff have completed their nationally recognised qualification in dementia care along with many other qualifications including palliative care and people management skills. We operate a company where openness is imperative and good communication skills are a must.

Here at Aveley Lodge we actively encourage those living and working within the home to participate in the running where ever possible. We take great care to ensure we work as a team, listen to, encourage and support all those involved with Aveley Lodge.
